One of the most important events in the American sporting calendar, the NBA All-Star game 2022 is fast-approaching.
Fan voting for the game has been going for a few weeks now as the regular season hits the halfway point.
The public vote will make up half of the players selected for the All-Star 2022 game.
Players and members of the media make up the other 50%.
They then, of course, all go into the draft, from which the two teams are drawn and preparations for the game begin in earnest.
But when is the end date for NBA All-Star voting for the 2022 match? What is the timeline afterwards before the game?

How many players are selected in total?
While some names, such as LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant are certainties to be in after fan voting for the NBA All-Star 2022 game, the same can’t be said for everyone.
In total, 24 players are selected for the game from across the NFL.
The captains – drawn from which players have the most fan votes in each conference – then decide on their teams.
After all the voting and drafting has closed, the NBA All-Star game 2022 is set to take place on February 20th, at the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
There is no set date for the draft phase as of yet – although the 2021 draft took place on March 4th, three days before the All-Star itself.
