Jed Wallace is a wanted man.
The Millwall midfielder’s contract is up in the summer, and he’s been linked to the likes of Besiktas, Nottingham Forest and, perhaps most interestingly, Leeds United.
Wallace is one of the best players in the Championship right now, and while he’s wanted by a number of clubs, Leeds will be hoping to win the race for his signature.
Interestingly, Wallace has previously worked with the man he may replace at Leeds, Helder Costa.
Indeed, Wallace and Costa were briefly teammates at Wolves, and after the winger’s move to Leeds, the Millwall man named him as one of the best players he’s ever seen in the Championship.

What’s Wallace said about Costa?
Wallace spoke about Costa when naming his dream XI on Millwall’s Twitter account.
“That six month period towards the end of my time at Wolves he was unbelievable, to be honest, and probably one of the of the best players I’ve seen in the Championship,” said Wallace.

Could now replace him
Wallace could well be taking Costa’s place as Leeds’ back-up right winger.
Costa is seemingly out in the cold at Leeds, being sent out on loan to Valencia this term, and with Dan James seemingly being favoured on the left, Leeds still need more depth down the right-hand side.
Wallace would fit that role perfectly, and in doing so, he could usurp Costa – ultimately, spelling the end of the Portuguese winger’s time at Elland Road.
